How PRC is Adjusting to COVID-19 for Our Team and For You

Coronavirus has changed everything about the way we all work, and things at PRC are no different. If you are a client or friend of our team, we’d like to share our adjustments during this difficult time. 

Staff

We have transitioned all staff to work from home, except those performing essential functions at each of our eight locations. We are complying with all state and federal mandates regarding the definition of “essential job functions,” being mindful of social distancing, and ensuring no more than ten people at any one location. We are also working to ensure we can keep these offices cleaned and sanitized regularly.

Collection
We are staying on top of all state and federal collection related mandates. Some states, such as Illinois, Massachusetts, and Nevada, have restricted certain types of outbound collection attempts. Other states, such as North Carolina, have mandated that we defer payment plans for those consumers who request it. We understand how debt collection is perceived during this time and are acting accordingly, keeping our clients and their consumers’ best interests at heart. We found ourselves ahead of this mandate, having anticipated how debt collection is perceived under such unprecedented circumstances.

Client Services
While we must continue working to keep our business healthy, we also recognize our responsibility in assisting our clients to weather this storm. Servicing the receivables in our care and maintaining communication with your consumers during this time is critical. Doing so from a place of empathy is a critical aspect of the service we’ve always provided — and it is an approach even more at the forefront of our minds today. Our representatives continue to receive coaching on this approach. Anything less is not acceptable.

We certainly anticipate feeling the effects of the pandemic moving forward as we work with debtors to modify payment arrangements or navigate the various collection restrictions.
